Offshore platform

Depending on the load-carrying capacity requirements, offshore platform crane slewing bearings usually use four-point contact ball turntables and three-row roller internal tooth slewing bearings. The slewing bearing used on offshore platform cranes has special material requirements. The mechanical properties of the material must be able to ensure a safety factor under extreme load. The specific impact test under forging sampling can reach an average value of 42J@-20°C or 27J@-40 °C. The finished bearing must be certified by the shipping society.

Crane slewing bearing structure is divided into two parts: the top structure and the bottom structure. The top structure is connected to the upper mast, and the bottom structure is connected to the lower turntable. The mast and the turntable are connected together by pins. The driving device of the slewing structure is located at the bottom and mainly consists of three parts: a slewing motor, a slewing brake, and a slewing reducer, all of which are fixed on the lower turntable. The rotary motor is connected to the rotary brake through splines, and the rotary brake transmits power to the rotary reducer through the splines. The rotary reducer completes the rotary motion through the cooperation of the small gear and the large gear fixed on the intermediate base column.
